The Digital Citizenship area seeks to reflect on and study the complexities, challenges, and opportunities that come up with the advance of digital technologies and data economy for a competent, critical and safe citizenship.
Data literacy. Skills for a digital citizenship
The project proposal is to intervene and guide the training of digital skills in high schools from Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru.
It includes technical skills related to data processing and visualization so that young people can think of local community issues and, based on that, prototype solutions. The proposal also includes the development of cognitive, metacognitive, and socio-emotional skills for a real and effective inclusion.
The projects is financed by the Education Sector Fund [Fondo Sectorial de Educación].
